Restorative Dentistry

Restore Your Confidence

Remember when you were a child and had no fears about smiling? K Dental wants you to be able to smile again, without reservation or hesitation. We restore your teeth to their natural state to give you and your smile a boost of confidence. Whether you need a minor treatment, like a filling, or you’re considering a more long-term option like implants, we’re always available to answer your questions and help you decide which restoration is right for you.

Fillings

One of the most common restorative treatments, fillings help restore teeth that have succumbed to decay. Our fillings are made of a composite, tooth-colored material that blends with your natural enamel. The process is quick and easy.

Crowns/Bridges

In situations of severe damage or a root canal, we suggest patients restore their teeth with a crown. Custom fitted to your tooth, a crown fits snugly over the weak tooth and is bonded to the surface. They are colored to match the rest of your natural teeth for a seamless restoration that is undetectable. And good news! No more coming to the office sixteen times to get a crown! We do same-day crowns with our CEREC machine which allows us to design and fabricate a perfect crown in a single visit!
Do you have a missing tooth? Consider a dental bridge. The bridge can replace a single tooth or a small series of teeth by adding prosthetic teeth to the gap. These prosthetics are secured by a crown on each healthy tooth, and anchored into place. All of our dental bridges are metal free.

Implants

If you’re looking for a permanent, durable solution for missing teeth, ask us about dental implants! Implants are a great option to bring back your smile’s luster. The team at K Dental can place and restore dental implants. The process requires a small titanium rod, implanted into your jawbone, to act as the root of the tooth. Once healed, custom-created prosthetic teeth are placed. Implants look and feel like natural teeth, so you can eat and talk like always.

Porcelain Inlays/Porcelain Onlays

Inlays and onlay restorations are made of porcelain and are typically recommended when traditional fillings are not an option. An inlay covers the interior of the cusps of the tooth, while an onlay extends over the cusps. This treatment can actually strengthen the integrity of the tooth, and many patients don’t need a crown placed after the restoration.

Partials

Partials are a great option for patients who want a removable prosthetic to replace a series of missing teeth. When a tooth is missing, healthy teeth around the gap can shift, throwing off your bite, and altering the way you talk and eat. Partials replace the missing teeth and keep the healthy teeth from shifting.

Custom Cosmetic Dentures

Custom cosmetic dentures aren’t your grandparents’ dentures. These removable prosthetics are individually designed to fit your unique mouth, and are crafted with the finest materials to provide superior quality. Your smile never looked so good. Endodontics

Are you suffering from infected nerve tissue as a result of severe decay? The infected tissue can cause pain, and can spread to other healthy teeth. It’s important to try to save your tooth whenever possible, so we may recommend a root canal. Our team is committed to keeping you comfortable and relaxed throughout the procedure. Dr. K will perform anterior, premolar, and molar endodontic therapy from the comfort of our own office. Don’t let your nerves get the best of you.

Oral Surgery

Sometimes, you just need to get rid of the bad tooth. In cases of extraction and other minor procedures, K Dental ensures that all of our treatments are pain-free and we are committed to keeping you relaxed. We can help with oral sedatives or nitrous oxide to help you stay calm and soothe your worries. For more advanced procedures, like wisdom teeth removal, our team is happy to provide a referral to a specialized surgeon.
